Old way, New day: The beach reads "closed"

Let me take you away today
This little town: Bodega Bay
Let us journey within a wallow
Now see them there, nearest the sea
There: Where the sea salt waves roll back, only leaving scum frothing atop the sands
They wait and titter, in all a game, other ways to catch their prey
They steal upon the land, if they followed the rules here governed
But, like their "Ancestors", a well kept secret.
So easy to learn if we would just listen
I stared in shock and growing miff
Is it the season, is this right at all?
They take their prey so easy with just a slight of hand
They did not speak my language, so crafty was their skill
It is amazing what you can learn from nature and it's will
I tell you love it was a sight, even if it was wrong by law
To live off earth so easy, pulling up the shelled colored crustaceans... But covered in scum and froth!
